Ledged Doors
A ledged door is primarily used internally and is sure to enhance the aesthetics of your home, particularly period properties and cottages. This style consists of vertical run tongue and groove boards held together by horizontal ledges to keep the doors rigidity. Our ledged doors are also available in a ledged and braced style, for added structural support. The tongue and groove boards used in both these doors are available in various styles from a more simple V-groove design to a more decorative beaded mould.
All our joinery is custom made therefore we are able to manufacture to any shape or size. Because we make to order you can help us to craft the desired finish for your door. You can select your desired timber, your preferred finish (painted, natural stain or even unfinished), whether the door opens in or out and of course your choice of quality ironmongery. It goes without saying that our craftsmen are on hand to advise you every step of the way.
