Sprung Sash Windows
Sprung sash windows are based primarily on the design of a traditional box sash window but incorporate modern technology in the form of spiral spring balances to support the weight of the window rather than using the traditional corded and weighted system. This is often a less expensive alternative suited to modern houses or older houses that don’t have the rebated brickwork that a box sash sits in to but still provides the traditional sash style.
All our joinery is custom made therefore we are able to manufacture to any shape or size. Because we make to order you can help us to craft the desired finish for your windows. You can select your desired timber, your preferred finish (painted, natural stain or even unfinished), the type of glass you would like to use, the number of glazing bars required and of course your choice of quality ironmongery. It goes without saying that our craftsmen are on hand to advise you every step of the way.
All our windows are fully draft sealed and manufactured to the highest standards.
